Oscar won the Best Actor in a Supporting Role (最佳男配角) Award during 2018 TVB Anniversary Awards (萬千星輝頒獎典禮 2018) on 16th December 2018. He could not believe when his name was called and said on the stage: he thanked TVB for grooming him for 14 years and enriching his experiences.Oscar changed his Chinese name in 2019, he said it was due to safety reasons.

Gloria Tang is an actress, known for Airport Strikers (2020). Born in Hong Kong, Gloria immigrated to Richmond, British Columbia with her parents in 2000. She studied marketing at the University of British Columbia. At age 19, she competed in and won Miss Chinese Vancouver 2012. She went on to represent Vancouver at Miss Chinese International 2013 held at TVB City, Hong Kong. The best part of this scene is when @kalok_and @riccong are “trying to fix” the tutoring academy’s washroom sink faucet, and @skybananaaa was just there enjoying himself too much in the back lol and @aaryncheung standing there encouraging them. I love how the lady (a variety show host) randomly opened the men’s washroom door watching them and smiling at them.

Korean variety shows are what everyone seems to be going crazy for these days, but these are the shows that I am currently watching or grew up watching – Hong Kong variety shows? Yes, these shows may be old-school, and they certainly don’t feature any of your favorite K-pop idols, but one thing’s for sure is that they have brightened up countless nights of many.

The Super Trio series is known as one of the longest-running variety shows in Hong Kong. Airing for 18 years, this game show had given my family countless fits of laughter with some of the most nonsensical games. However, this series came to an end in 2014. It’s simply impossible for any true Hongkongers don't know the show's catchphrase – "Super!"

Every ‘best variety shows’ list always includes some sort of cooking show, and for Hong Kong, it has got to be the Beautiful Cooking series. In every episode, three female celebrities are invited to compete in a two-round cooking competition to see who would be crowned as the next culinary queen. But the twist is, though many of these female celebrities are known for their beauty, their cooking skills may not be as alluring. For those who take cooking seriously, the many questionable recipes and disastrous cooking mishaps may make this show very hard to watch, but for the rest of us, it’s very entertaining and fun to watch.

Who would have thought that waiters dressed up as monkeys could be a restaurant's main attraction? Have you ever seen a tree with a face? What about a dog with eyebrows? Every episode had something eye-popping to watch, mind-boggling to even imagine, and never failed to leave us in awe.
